Breoyna is a beautiful high school senior at Clover Hill High School in Chesterfield County, Virginia. I had the privilege of photographing her senior portrait session back in April. I truly cannot remember the last time I photographed someone as confident as Breoyna. Most clients need a little coaching before they’re truly comfortable during their photo sessions, but Breoyna came to life in front of the camera with little prompting!

Breoyna’s High School Experience

Looking back on high school, Breoyna says her favorite memories included hanging out with her friends, and attending school events like football games and pep rallies. She’ll miss the love and school spirit amongst the students and staff at Clover Hill High School.

Breoyna’s Plans for the Future

Breoyna will be attending Old Dominion University in the fall where she plans to study Education. She hopes to become an elementary school teacher and hopes to be a role model for her young students.

Breoyna’s Vision for Her Senior Portrait Session

I love it when my clients know what they want! From the get-go, Breoyna knew her portrait session had to be at General Sheppard Crump Memorial Park in Glen Allen. It made for a spectacular backdrop full of spring elements – green grass, beautiful old trees, and lovely pink blooms!

She also knew right off the bat that she wanted to bring her sweet pup, Prince, along with her. Photographing pets with their loved ones makes my heart so happy.

My Favorites Moments from Breoyna’s Senior Portrait Session

It’s always hard to narrow down my favorite moments from senior portrait sessions, and that was especially true for this senior portrait session. Breoyna was SO confident in front of the camera, which made my job super easy.

I loved that Breoyna chose to incorporate Clover Hill High School-themed smoke bombs in her session!

“It was a very windy day, so the smoke from the smoke bombs went totally crazy getting all in my face, but I do not regret incorporating them into my photos.”

But I really loved that Breoyna chose to include her mother, sister, and dog in her senior portrait session. Capturing photos with loved ones before a big milestone is always a good idea. These ladies will have these photographs to cherish for a lifetime so they can look back on the moments before Breoyna makes the big life change of going to college!
